3(x^2 - 1) - (x^2 -7x + 10)
Distribute the 3 in the first parenthesis and the negative in the second parenthesis. Then combine like terms.
3x^2 -3 -x^2 + 7x -10
2x^2 + 7x -13
# 2 is the answers
