Answer: C. because he knows Oedipus won't listen.

Odysseus meets the Theban prophet Tiresias in Book 11 of The Odyssey. The prophet reveals to him his fate. He states that Odysseus will return home, reclaim his wife and his palace, get rid of the annoying suitors, and make another trip to visit Poseidon. He also advises Odysseus to not touch the flocks of the Sun when he arrives to Thrinacia.
