Answer: 32

Explanation:

The sequence is an arithmetic sequence because there is a common difference , which is 2.

The formula for finding nth term of an arithmetic sequence is given as :

t_(n) =
a + (n-1)d

where :

a = first term

d = common difference

n = number of terms

Therefore : the 20th term will be :

t_(20) =
a + (20-1)d

t_(20) =
a + 19d

t_(20) = - 6 + 19(2)

t_(20) = -6 + 38

t_(20) = 32
