Instantaneous velocity means velocity at a point of time and it is given by

v=\text{ }(ds)/(dt);

where ds is very small displacement in point time interval dt.

According to problem

distance from W to Z= 50 cm;

period of revolution = 12 sec

v= 50/12 = 4.17 cm/s;

Final result is :- 4.17 cm/s
