The density of oxygen is 1.43 x 10 -3 kg/m3. If a canister of oxygen has a mass of 0.2 kg, find the volume.

Density is defined as mass over volume. Using this equation, the volume can then be obtained by dividing the mass by density. In this case, this volume is equal to 0.2 kg/ (1.43*10^-3 kg/m^3). The volume is then calculated to be 139.86 m^3. If converted in units of liters, the volume is equal to 139, 860 L since there is 1000 L in 1 m^3.
