we can write the situation mathematically like follows:

n+(n+1)+(n+2)=-138

where n is the smallest integer and n+2 is the greatest, let's find first the smallest to find the greatest then.

n+(n+1)+(n+2)=3n+3

then

3n+3=-138
3n=-141
n=-(141)/(3)=-47

then the smallest integer will be n=-47 and the greatest will be n+2=-47+2=-45 then the final answe is -45.
