Solve this by putting x and y on the same side of the equals sign and the constant on the other side. The first equation then would look like this, x first:
(3)/(4)x-1y=6. That is also the same thing as
-(3)/(4)x+1y=-6. The second equation would be
-8x-1y=-2. That is also the same thing as
8x+1y=2. That means that the combination that is correct is -3/4 1 -6 and 8 1 2. That is found in the second choice down.
