The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, draws much its quality from the way that its topics are so widespread. Concentrating on satisfying our "Personal Legends," Coelho urges his peruser's to take after their fantasies. An individual legend, as it's alluded to in The Alchemist, is one's fate in life. It's distinguishing our motivation in life and seeking after it. In the story, the primary character, Santiago, goes looking for his own legend.
