Solution:

Given:

\begin{gathered} Total\text{ hours worked}=33.75hours \\ Earnings\text{ per hour}=\text{ \$}12.20 \\ Overtime\text{ per hour}=1.5*12.20=\text{ \$}18.30 \end{gathered}

1) Regular pay amount:

\begin{gathered} Regular\text{ pay amount}=12.20*33.75 \\ =\text{ \$}411.75 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the regular pay amount is $411.75

2) Overtime pay:

Overtime is paid for all hours worked per week and it is 1.5 times the hourly rate for overtime hours.

Hence,

\begin{gathered} Overtime\text{ pay}=1.5*12.20*33.75 \\ =617.625 \\ To\text{ the nearest cent;} \\ =\text{ \$}617.63 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the overtime pay is $617.63

3) Gross pay:

The gross pay is the total pay for regular pay and overtime pay.

Hence,

\begin{gathered} Gross\text{ pay}=411.75+617.63 \\ =\text{ \$}1029.38 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the gross pay is $1029.38
