What is the Prime Factorization of 36

First you must know what the primes are, which are numbers that have only 1 and themselves as factors...(look em up and remember as many as you can as they come up again and again in mathematics :P)

Then you factor your number with these primes from least to greatest...

36=2*2*3*3 or you could say:

36=2^2(3^2)
