Jana is doing an art project using a computer algebra program. She wants to make a circle centered at the origin that just touches a diagonal line that she has drawn across the screen. The line has intercepts at (0,6) and (6,0).

So Jana needs to make a circle, with the center at origin

from the intercepts we can figure it out that the lenght of the hypothenuse is 6

we have an isosceles triangle, 2 legs are 6 each

I will use desmos, so you can see better

the equation is x^2+y^2=18
