3/4x + 9/4 = 9

Subtract 9/4 from both sides.

3/4x = 9 - 9/4

Simplify.

3/4x = 36/4 - 9/4

Simplify.

3/4x = 27/4

Multiply both sides by 4/3.

x = 27/4 × 4/3

Simplify.

x = 9

~Hope I helped!~
