A pie tin with a 9 inch diameter and 1.5 inch depth has a capacity of 53 fluid ounces. A giant pumpkin pie is baked every year for a fall festival using a similarly shaped pie tin with dimensions 12 times a small large.

A. Since the dimensions are multiplied by 12 as stated in the given above, the capacity is equal to the original volume times the cube of 12.
new capacity = (53 fluid ounce) x (12^3) = 91,584 fluid ounce

B. The capacity in gallons is calculated through the equation,
capacity in gallons = (91,584 fluid ounce) x (1 gallon / 128 fluid ounce)
capacity in gallons = 715.5 gallons
