graph y = |x), y = |x|+ 5, and y=1x|-6 on the same coordinate plane. then make a conjecture, in terms of a transformation about the graph of y = |x| + k, for any value of k.

EXPLANATION

Given the functions:

(1) y= |x|

(2) y = |x|+ 5

(3) y= |x|-6

The conjeture is that modifying the value of k from -6 to +5, we can get the function #1 or #2 or #3

graph y = |x), y = |x|+ 5, and y=1x|-6 on the same coordinate plane. then make a conjecture-example-1
