Answer

Find out the area of the table top .

To prove

Formula

Area\ of\ circle = \pi r^(2)

Where r is the radius of a circle .

As given

A circular table top has a radius of 24 inches.

Thus radius = 24 inches

\pi = 3.14

put this in the above formula

Area of the circular table top = 3.14 × 24 × 24

= 1808.64 inches²

Taking the nearest square inch ²

Therefore the area of the circular table top is 1809 inches².

Option (c) is correct .

Area of a circle can be calculated by the product of pi and the square of the radius. It is expressed as:

Area = πr²
Area = π (24)²
Area = 1809.56 in²

The nearest value from the choices would be 1809.
