Hi, to answer this we have to write a proportion:

Since 125 original price, it was the 100% = 125/100

So, for 150= 150/x

Where x is the percentage for 150

125/100 = 150/x

x = 150/ (125/100)

x=120%

150 is 120% of the original price.

So:

120%-100% = 20%

The percent increase is 20%
