“Roots grow down and shoots grow up.” That is the conclusion drawn by a group of plant scientists. To validate their results a pea seedling was planted as illustrated. A porous pot of water is placed in the soil close to the pea seedling. How would you respond to the plant scientists’ initial conclusion? please tell me

when the seed is soaked in water after growing a testa the radicle and the plumule first grows out of the sees these are called embryo and these are know as the first root and the first shoot (leaves) of a plant. Radicle is the first root, plumule is the first shoot grown

C. They are incorrect. Roots are also positively hydrotropic. if your looking for the ABCD answer
