First of, let's arrange the equation so it becomes a y= fraction

5y=2x-5

now divide 5 by everything to get rid of the 5 hugging the y

y=2/5x-1

Put 0 for x and figure out y by solving -5y=5. To solve, divide both sides by -5 to get y. Then put the value found for y in the equation and solve for x.
