Find the equation of the circle in standard form for the given center (h, k) and radius r: (h, k) = (5, 4), r = 2

(x − 5)2 + (y − 4)2 = 4

(x + 5)2 + (y + 4)2 = 2

(x + 5)2 + (y + 4)2 = 4

(x − 5)2 + (y − 4)2 = 2

if cente ris (h,k) and radius is r then
equatn is (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

so

center (5,4)
r=2
h=5
k=4

(x-5)^2+(y-4)^2=2^2
(x-5)^2+(y-4)^2=4

first option
