9 people because you subtract 50 from 100 then divide 50 divided bt 5.50. its not a flat out number so you have to round down to 9.

He can only have 9 people because $50 go to land charges and then he got 50 more dollars but 5.50 for each and 50 divided by 5.50= 9 and some change so 9 people can come to his party
