The answer is 2. informed, because its more of " Im just letting you know" type of connotation. 1,2, and 3 are just telling you to do something against your own will.

Answer:

The one with the most positive connotation is indeed number 2. informed.

Step-by-step explanation:

When we analyze the four options, we notice that numbers 1, 3, and 4 have a heavier connotation. They imply force, as if the speaker has power, and the listener has to obey the speaker. Number 2, however, does not convey that feeling. Informing someone means letting them know, but not forcing them to do something. Compare the examples:

- His boss ordered him to wear his uniform on Fridays.

- His boss informed him he should wear uniforms on Fridays.

In the first example, we have the feeling that the boss was straightforward in his command. In the second one, we sense a more laid-back situation. Even though in both cases the employee will have to wear the uniform, the second one sounds less forceful. Therefore, "informed" has a more positive connotation.
