The base of the cylinder is a circle in which the area is calculated through the equation,
A = πr²
We are given that area is 25π in². From this and the equation above, the value of r is equal to 5 in. Using this calculated value as the height, the volume of the cylinder is,
V = Bh
where B is area of the base and h is height.
V = (25π in²)(5 in) = 125π in³
or also equal to,
V = 392.7 in
