When you are reading a story, having names gives the reader an indication of who is thinking what and doing what. It wouldn't be easy to read if it was always, "She went after the girl who was talking to her friend in the hallway. The girl who went after the girl who talked to her friend in the hallway was furious." It would be easier to read if it was; "Ahna went after Emily who was talking to her friend in the hallway. She was furious." It would get confusing after awhile of reading "she" and "him". We wouldn't have names for no reason. Having names is good to have and they are beautiful.
