he was off by 9.5%, you just divide 5.43 by 6 then subtract that answer from 1 and you get your percentage

Answer:

9.5% is the percentage error.

Explanation:

Given that Eric measured the height of a window frame as 5.43 feet, but the actual height was 6 feet.

Mistake in measurement =
6-5,43 = 0.57'

Relative error =
(0.57)/(6) =0.095

Percentage of error in measurement =
(0.57)/(6) (100) \\=9.5%

9.5% is the answer
