Use the distributive property to create an expression equivalent to the one below. 5(7x+6y)

Please help, I don't understand this at all.​

Answer: 35x + 30 y

Step by step explanation:
You distribute 5 to 7x and 6y
5*7x = 35x
5*6y = 30y
Add them together and you get 35x + 30y
