Eleanor wants to show her class a comparison of melting rates between two different solids when heat is applied.

Why would a graph be more suitable than a table to show her data?

Graphs better illustrate the comparison of two different data sets.

Step-by-step explanation:

A graphical representation is a method in which a line or bars are made to represent the given data. Whereas a table representation is a method in which values are written numerically for a given set of data.

Basically, a graph helps by making it easy to determine the similarities and dissimilarities between different set of data. On the other hand, in a tabular representation each value needs to be checked in order to find the difference between two or more data sets.
