5x + 3 y = 7
3y = -5x + 7
y = -5/3x + 7/3

slope = -5/3

hope it helps

5x+3y=7
3y=-5x+7
y=-5/3x+7/3

Slope-intercept form:
y=mx+b where m is the slope of the line. As a result, the slope of a line parallel to the line with equation 5x + 3 y = 7 is -5/3. Hope it help!
