f(x) = –|x| – 4
f(x) = –|x + 4|
f(x) = –|x – 4|

Which function is represented by the graph? f(x) = –|x| + 4 f(x) = –|x| – 4 f(x) = –|x-example-1

Answer:

the required function would be:

f(x)=-|x-4|

Explanation:

We have given four different functions and a graph we need to check which one options matches with the graph

We have parent function absolute function and 4 units shifted to right that means -4 should be there.

Hence, the required function would be:

f(x)=-|x-4|

Here x-intercept is 4.

Option 4th is correct.
