Which of the equations below could be the function rule for the following function? {(0, -1), (1, 2), (-1, -4), (2, 5)} y = 3x - 1 y = x + 1 y = x - 3 y = 2x + 1

Should be the first one. All you have to do is plug in the x-value for each set of pairs into each equation. If the equation fits the points, then the y-value should match the y.
