If x is the number of 14 ounce cans and there are a combined total of 870 cans and bottles then 910 - x is the number of 70 ounce bottles

The combined total weight (W) of the cans and bottles is:

\begin{gathered} W=14x+70(910-x) \\ W=14x+63700-70x \\ W=-56x+63700 \end{gathered}
