We need to find the height of top of the ladder high off the ground i.e. AB.

Consider, Δ ABC,


\sin 70^\circ=(AB)/(AC)\\\\0.939=(AB)/(32)\\\\0.939* 32=AB\\\\30.07=AB\\\\AB=30\ feet

Hence, the top of the ladder is 30 feet high off the ground.
