The initial expression is:

(x-2)/(3)+(y+3)/(4)=2

we can rewrite the function in the form:

y=mx+b

where m is the slope so:

\begin{gathered} (y+3)/(4)=-(x-2)/(3)+2 \\ (y+3)/(4)=-(1)/(3)x+(2)/(3)+2 \\ y+3=-(4)/(3)x+(8\cdot4)/(3) \\ y=-(4)/(3)x+10.6-3 \\ y=-(4)/(3)x+7.6 \end{gathered}

this means that the slope is -4/3 or -1.33
