7 1/2 =7.5 and 3/4=.75
7.5 inch ribbon cut into .75 inch pieces = 7.5/.75 which equals 10,
10 pieces of ribbon is your answer

The answer is 10, this is because 7 1/2 = 7.5 3/4=.75 and if there is 7.5 inches of ribbon, but cut into .75 pieces you would divide 7.5 by .75 which equals 10.
