The main difference between these two diasporas is why the people had to leave their homelands; the Syrian people had to leave because of a war that was making their homeland too dangerous to live in, while the Irish peoples had to leave because of rising rents and prices, bad landlords, poor harvests, and a lack of jobs thanks to a famine. Aside from this main difference between the peoples, the rest of the situation is mostly the same.
