To convert a mixed number into an improper fraction you just multiply the whole number and denominator and add the numerator than just put it out of the original denominator.

Like so:

4 5/7

28+5/7 *i multiplied the whole number and denominator and added 5****

33/7 *i just added 5 and left the denominator as 7****

Hope that helped :)

multiply then add

whole number times denominator then plus numerator also REMEMBER: denominator always stays the same

4*7= 28+5= 33/7
