What is the solution set of the following system of equations?

5x - 3y - 10 = 0
x + y - 7 = 0

They are right it is 31/8, 25/8

5x - 3y - 10 = 0 --> -3y=-5x+10
--> y=(-5x+10)/-3
x + y - 7 = 0 --> x=-y+7
*y= (-5 (-y+7) + 10)/-3 = (5y-35+10)/-3
-3y = 5y-25 --> -8y = -25--> y = 25/8
*x = -y + 7 = -25/8 +7
x = (56-25)/8 = 31/8
So the solution point is at (31/8, 25/8)
