If m = 8, what is 4m + 2m?

Hint: "4m" means "4 TIMES m" and "2m" means "2 TIMES m"

It would be 48 because you would replace the M with 8 itself so it would look like 4(8) + 2(8) and basically when it’s in that form multiply the equation with two seperate parts so 4(8) will turn to 32 because 8x4=32 and on the other side it would be 16 so the new equation would be 32+16 which that will equal 48 your welcome

Answer:

48

Explanation:

4m means 4xm, and 2m means 2xm

Now, if m = 8, 4m means 4x8, and 2m means 2x8. (Technically, substituting the number in place of the variable m)

4x8 = 32

2x8 = 16

So the equation now is 32+16

Do the math and you get 48
