What is the amplitude, period, and phase shift of f(x)=-4 sin (2x+3.14)-5

remember this: for a trig function of y = A sin(Bx + C) + D

amplitude is A
period is 2π/B
phase shift is −C/B
vertical shift is D

So the amplitude is -4, the period is
π and the phase shift is -3.14/2 = 1.57.
