Which answer shows a correct order to solve this story problem?

Victor bought 3 sandwiches for $3.25 each, 3 bags of chips for $1.10 each, and a bottle of water for $1.99. He left the waiter a $2.25 tip. How much did Victor spend?
A. Step 1: Add the price of a sandwich to the price of the bottle of water. Step 2: Multiply that total by 3. Step 3: Add the total price of 3 bags of chips to that total. Step 4: Add the tip to the final total for all the items.
B. Step 1: Calculate the total price of the 3 sandwiches. Step 2: Calculate the total price of the 3 bags of chips. Step 3: Add $1.99 to total cost for the sandwiches and chips. Step 4: Add the tip to the final total for all the items.
C. Step 1: Add the price of a sandwich and a bag of chips. Step 2: Add $1.99 to total for the sandwiches and chips. Step 3: Multiply that total by 3. Step 4: Add the tip to the final total for all the items.

I think the answer is B because first of all, You would multiply or calculate the price of the three sandwiches, then you would do the same cycle with the chips. Then you would add 1.99 to the answer then last but not least you would add the tip. But if the question was asking how much he spent, you would have to calculate what the tip was.
