I was looking for the answer to the same question. If you start from the closest end to the y-axis of either Qs and move it 11 units you will find the answer to be-
Horizontal translation of 11 units.

Answer:

Translation 11 units to the right

Explanation:

The figure Q is a trapezoid with vertices at points A(-9,3), B(-6,5), C(-4,5) and D(-2,3).

The figure Q' is also a trapezoid with vertices at points A'(2,3), B'(5,5), C'(7,5) and D'(9,3).

Note that

  • (-9+11,3)=(2,3);

  • (-6+11,5)=(5,5);

  • (-4+11,5)=(7,5);

  • (-2+11,3)=(9,3).

This means that the transformation is a translation 11 units to the right.
