The length of the hypotenuse of a 30 60 90 triangle is 11. What is the perimeter?

I believe it is either 33+11sqrt3 or 33/2+11/2sqrt3

Please help! I'm failing my math class this year

Answer:

Perimeter of the triangle is
26.015\\ units

Explanation:

Given a
30-60-90 degree angled triangle

Let us calculate the length of side opposite the 30 degree angle

= (1)/(2) *hypotenuse

= (1)/(2) * 11\\= 5.5 units

length of side opposite the 60 degree angle

= 5.5 * √(3) \\= 5.5 * 1.73\\= 9.515 units

The perimeter of a triangle is equal to the sum of length of all three sides

Thus, the perimeter of this
30-60-90 degree angled triangle is

11 + 5.5 + 9.515\\= 26.015\\ units

Thus, the perimeter of the triangle is
26.015\\ units
