Answer:

Keep family records

Step-by-step explanation:

Women in this day and age are allowed to vote, work, and go to school. They can not only work but have any job they choose. This was very different then what they had to do years ago they were in charge of taking care of the family so it makes sense that even the wealthy womens jobs where to take care and keep the family recoreds safe.

The correct answer is D) keep family records.

In the early 1800s, wealthy women had certain responsibilities. What was considered a responsibility was keeping family records.

Women's life in the early 1800s was full of obligations. They had many things to do but unfortunately for them in those years, they had limited rights. Men controlled the lives of women. Since the family values that dictated that women had to respect the father until the marriage institution in which they had to respect and serve the husband. Women had the pressure to find a husband, have children and raised them to be considered good women. If they were single, people made jokes about them and disrespected them.
