If an object is projected upward with an initial velocity of 126 ft per sec, its height h after t seconds is h = - 16t^2 + 126t. Find the height of the object after 2 seconds

Since we are given h(t), we only have to use 2 as our value of t in the equation to find the height at that time.

h(2)=-16(2^2)+126(2)

h(2)=-64+252

h(2)=188ft

So after two seconds the object is 188 feet above the original height.
