44 because 1.00 -3.00 = 2.00
208miles-120miles=88.
88/2 because it is measured in kmper hour so we need one hour so it is 44

Answer:

The constant speed is 44 miles per hour

Explanation:

We have the following details.

Point A

t_(1)= 1.00\\x_(1)= 120

Point B

t_(2)= 3.00\\x_(2)= 208

The speed in this case is defined as

s=(\Delta x)/(\Delta t)

Where
\Delta x=x_(2)- x_(1) and
\Delta t = t_(2)- t_(1)

Replacing all values, we have

s=(208-120)/(3.00-1.00)=(88)/(2)=44

Therefore, the constant speed is 44 miles per hour, which means the car travels 44 miles every hour.
