Find the linear that is the best fit for the given data. Round decimals values to the nearest hundredth, if necessary

The ages and length of several animals of the same species are recorded in the following
Age 2/4/6/8/10
Length 15/37/60/75/94

The linear least squares regression will have a slope of:

m=(nΣxy-ΣxΣy)/(nΣx^2-ΣxΣx)

m=(5*2078-30*281)/(5*220-30*30)

m=1960/200

m=9.8

and a y-intercept of:

b=(Σy-mΣx)/n

b=(281-9.8*30)/5

b=-2.6

So the line of best fit is:

y=9.8x-2.6
