Why do doctors typically use blood tests to diagnose endocrine disorders?

The main function of the endocrine system is the regulation of different hormones in the body and these hormones are being transported through the circulatory system. Once there are hormonal abnormalities, the best exam being used is the blood and urine tests. Hormone levels can be determined through these tests which would suggest abnormalities. Hope this helps.
