To find x, we use the cosine function which is equivalent to the ratio between the adjacent leg and the hypotenuse

\begin{gathered} \cos 29=(x)/(10) \\ x=10\cdot\cos 29\approx8.7 \end{gathered}

To find y, we the sine function of 29°, which is equivalent to the ratio between the opposite leg and the hypotenuse

\begin{gathered} \sin 29=(y)/(10) \\ y=10\cdot\sin 29\approx4.8 \end{gathered}

Hence, x = 8.7 and y = 4.8.

Then, the perimeter would be the sum of all three side

P=x+y+10=8.7+4.8+10=23.5

Hence, the perimeter is 23.5.
