If the ratio is 4:3:2 each part of that ratio has a value of:
216/(4+3+2)
216/9=24
Since A pays four parts,
A pays 4*24=£96

216 ( share/9)
A pays 216×(4÷9)=96
B 216×(3÷9)=72
C 216×(2÷9)=48
