Pretty sure its A since he proclaimed himself a Tyrant which shows he has a high opinion of himself.

Sampsons has a very high regard for himself. The best way to illustrate his behavior is how he talks too much of his "works" and how he describes how great his works are. He has a tendency to exaggerate facts. Thus, making him a pseudo-scholar.
