A Bag contains several stuffed animals. There are 3 tigers 2 orangutans 5 panda bears 8 giraffes and 7 Giselle's. Steven randomly chooses an animal and puts it back into the back. He repeats this 100 times. How many times should Steven expect to drawl a tiger?

As the sample sized gets larger and larger the expected value gets closer and closer to the theoretical probability. In this case:

P(T)=3/(3+2+5+8+7)

P(T)=3/25

So in 100 trials we should expect to draw 100(3/25)=12 tigers.
